Welcome to Horticulture;
The objective of this course is to introduce students to the nature of horticulture industry, jobs available
and basic gardening skills.
The course helps students to have understanding of the basic ideas of Botany and the study of plants.
Students will gain practical experience in growing plants in the greenhouse: they learn how to water, propagate, transplant
and fertilize plants.
During the growing season students will install and maintain outdoor plants on the school grounds.
Students will make simple flower arrangements, corsages and bouquets for different occasions.
